I've realized this is our last Christmas of not having to worry about a baby breaking/eating decorations and ornaments. I spent some time thinking about how I could make a nativity scene that is Mason friendly and this is what I came up with.
My dad (carpenter) cut blocks for me but of course you can just buy blocks at a craft store.
My blocks are 2x2x1.75"
I gave them two coats of paint then lightly sanded the edges mostly to take off paint globs but we'll just say it was for the distressed look. Print pictures, cut out, glue on. I then sprayed them with a clear coat finish and we were done!
